OUR HISTORY
Echo Eight Group (E8G) is the culmination of previous paintball teams packed with some of the finest members from various teams in past years that have played all around the state, as well as the West Coast scene. Drawing on these years of experience we are working to bring a phenomenal sport back to the cities of Montana.
In 2005 at the height of the paintball scene, E8G team captain Patrik Hill - aka REVERAND - would helm the team RONIN to 9th place in the state of Montana under 3-man & 5-man competitions. Later combining key players of RONIN with members from another team, REVERAND would serve as co-captain and team photographer for the newly minted .68 CAL. Team .68 CAL would eventually retire as the 5th best team in Open Class (playing at a Division III level under NPPA regulations) for the Pacific Northwest Region.
2020 has seen its fair share of challenges and one those challenges is finding a sport where players can remain socially distant, remain active, and still demonstrate levels of athleticism. Paintball has brought all of these key components back under one roof and was a fine time to reimagine the sport with a fresh group of players, eager to get out and show the tenacity of the Montana spirit.
